Inside a node, a wire outranks configuration outranks the default
The rule
Normative: this is the rule
- Within a node, a value delivered on an input port outranks the value the author configured on that node, which outranks the port's schema default.
- Presence is decided key by key at every level, so an explicit
nullat a higher level wins over a value at a lower one.
Rule identifiers are permanent and are never renumbered. Each implementation publishes its own standing against these rules; this specification does not.spec 1.0-draft · DATA-7 · changed in spec 1.0
