Overview
FlowDrop is committed to your privacy. This page explains what data is collected when you visit flowdrop.io and how it is used.
The short version: we use cookieless, privacy-first analytics. We do not track you across sites, we do not sell your data, and we do not store any personal information.
Analytics
We use Umami Analytics, a self-hosted, open-source analytics tool. It is hosted on infrastructure operated by Factorial GmbH — the company behind FlowDrop.
Umami collects the following anonymous data for each page view:
- The URL of the page visited
- HTTP referrer (where you came from)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Device type (desktop / mobile / tablet)
- Country (derived from IP address, which is then discarded)
- Browser language and screen resolution
Umami does not use cookies. It does not store your IP address. It does not collect any personally identifiable information. It automatically respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics or tracking purposes. No consent banner is shown because none is required.
Your browser may store small items in local storage as part of normal website operation (e.g. SvelteKit prefetching), but these do not identify you and are not sent to any server.
Contact form
If you submit the contact form on this site, your name, email address, and message are sent to Factorial GmbH via their CRM system. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties.
Legal basis (GDPR)
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the processing of anonymous analytics data is based on our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding how our documentation and website are used, in order to improve them. Because no personal data is processed, this does not affect your rights or freedoms.
Contact form submissions are processed on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) given by voluntarily submitting the form.
Your rights
