# R8.c — Two dangling endpoints are two errors

## The rule

> **Normative.** This is the rule.
>
> 1. An edge whose `source` and `target` are both missing yields two errors, one for each endpoint, both at the same `edge.{index}` locator.
>
> 2. The endpoints are judged independently, so neither failure suppresses the other.
